Usman Garba Ibeto is from Niger State in Magama Local Government Area, Nasko. He was born at Ibeto in 1964.
He attended College of Education Minna, Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto and Federal University of Technology Minna for Post Graduate Studies in Environmental Management (2002).
He has taught in various Secondary Schools in Niger State before transferring his services to the Ministry of Environment and Forest Resources. Have worked as Community Facilitator under Fadama III Programme, Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP II) as Environment and Social Safeguards Officer, now the State Project Coordinator (NIGER), Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP)
