The people of Agassa Community in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State were visibly elated with the familiarization visit to their community by the Catchment Management Plan (CMP) consultants (Mecon Geological and Engineering Services) working with Kogi State NEWMAP. They expressed their immense gratitude to NEWMAP for yet another initiative in alleviating the menace of gully erosion in their community. Highlights of the visit was the admistering of questionnaires to community members, tour of the entire gully site, and the handing over of the Site by Kogi NEWMAP to the Consultant. Better Days are indeed ahead… Kogi NEWMAP… Erosion Management Redefined!!!
