Alhaji Salisu Dahiru, the National Project Coordinator, Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) receives the PUBLIC SERVICE PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR GOLD AWARD 2018 by Peoples Trust Africa Magazine Board of Editors in collaboration with Icons Milestones Communication.
This is in recognition of his exemplary leadership qualities and transparent antecedent in public service.
According to the Head of special projects, Mr. Kingsley Ihinmire who was on hand with the icon crew to present the public service personality of the year award 2018 to Alhaji Salisu Dahiru , the National project Coordinator of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project, Fed Min. of Environment Abuja. The award was bestowed on him in recognition of his meritorious & meticulous service to the Nation.
He said our recipient of this award is a man of many parts, a man of proven integrity, an astute administrator per excellence, an apostle of good governance, a human emancipator and efficient organizer, a man who has made a meaningful impact towards achieving his goal.
Mr. Ihinmire stated that peoples trust Africa & Icons milestone are proudly Nigerian concerns dedicated to research & training, media and publishing, recognition, events monitor and strategic services as well as sensitizing leaders through seminars , workshops and the promoting good governance in public and private sector. As part of activities marking its 9th anniversary, Peoples Trust Africa Magazine, in collaboration with Icons Milestones Communication (the number one events monitor) rolled out the drums in celebrating and recognizing notable men and women who have contributed immensely to the Nigeria.
Alhaji Salisu Dahiru, the national project coordinator, NEWMAP expressed his joy on the award conferred on him and stated that the award is for the entire NEWMAP team involving the World Bank, State management unites as well as the federal project management unit.
He said the NEWMAP has impacted in so many lives and positively on our environment, which is while the project is over subscribed. He said the project life span has not only been extended but it has also received additional financing. These are clear indicators that the project success stories are evidenced based.
