The IMO STATE NEWMAP in a bid to ensure strengthening of its MDAs, has made a donation of a new 40KVA Generating set to the parent Ministry, State Ministry of Environment.
While receiving and commissioning the new generating set, the Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Iyke Njoku expressed his profound gratitude to the State Project Co-ordinator and entire members of the SPMU. He retreated that this gesture will go a long way to improve the working conditions of the Ministry, as this will provide a source for steady power supply to the Ministry.
The State Project Co-ordiantor Engr. Victor Anueyiagu in his remarks thanked the Commissioner for the Ministry’s support so far and also pointed out that NEWMAP will further engage in activities to strengthen MDAs and the Ministry of Environment.
The generating set was then commissioned for use by the Hon. Commissioner.
