Engr. Mohammed Garba, FNATE : Project Coordinator Gombe State. Born on 1st December 1960 in Gombe local government of Gombe State. He attended Kaduna Polytechnic and obtained a National Diploma (Irrigation Engineering) in 1986. He holds a Higher National Diploma from the same institution in Agricultural Engineering with specialty in soil and water. His quest for knowledge took him to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi where he bagged a Post graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering (2016).
Engr. Mohammed Garba started public work in 1987 as an Assistant Irrigation Officer, Azare Zone, Bauchi state. He later became the Irrigation Officer under the directorate of Irrigation and Dams Ministry of Water and Environment, Gombe state from 1996 to 2000. He was the head of department engineering, responsible for managerial duties, planning and design of flood/gully erosion control under Gombe State Environmental Protection Agency (GOSEPA) from 2005 to 2015 when he joined the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project, Gombe state as the Project Engineer. He is happily married with children.
