Showcasing the glimpses of the ongoing civil works of the World Bank assisted Delta State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (Delta NEWMAP) in Owanta gully rehabilitation control project in Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State.
Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, keyed into the World Bank assisted project to provide socio-economic development and alternative source of livelihood to erosion and flood intervention communities in the state.
The Project is being supervised by the Delta State Ministry of Environment, under the watch of the Honourable Commissioner, Mr. Christian Onogba.
