As Delta State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) commences the process of procuring a reputable contractor for the construction/rehabilitation of Ukwu-Nzu erosion control project, the Delta State Government has called on prospective bidders to play by the rules and regulations attached to bidding processes.
The Commissioner, Delta State Ministry of Environment, Mr. Christian Onogba, made the call during the pre-bid virtual meeting for the procurement of a contractor for the construction/rehabilitation of Nkwu-Nzu erosion control project in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state, held at the conference hall of Delta NEWMAP, Asaba, yesterday.
Mr. Onogba who addressed prospective bidders through the virtual meeting, said bidders should ensure they meet the required bidding standard as only qualified bidder would be awarded the contract.
He said the Delta State Goverment places high premium on standardization
