NEWMAP Receives Best Performing Project in the World Bank Portfolio In Nigeria
The Gombe State Hon. Commissioner of Environment and Forest Resources, Hussaina Danjuma Goje (PhD) supervises the Financial Bids Opening in respect of Engineering Design and Supervision of 3 Gully Erosion Control Sites in Gombe State. The sites comprised East of International Hotel – Behind GMHA, Wuro bajoga – Barunde Bridge and East of Kumo General Hospital – Jauro Tukur Stream.
The Team for NEWMAP Data Validation Mission was in Abia State and in hours toured round three(3) project sites of Abia NEWMAP. The team comprising the Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, Social Livelihood Specialiat , Environmental Safeguard Specialist and Communication team among other members of FPMU visited remediated gully erosion sites, CIG sites and interviews with beneficiaries .
