Ayuba Peter Shua Project is the Coordinator Borno State NEWMAP. Ayuba Peter Shua was born on 3rd Nov, 1965 at Uvu Village, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. He holds a Bachelors (BSc Hons, 1989) degree (Botany) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and an M.Sc Degree in Arid Zone Ecology in 2000. Ayuba Peter Shua was a Director, Forest and Wildlife in the Borno State Ministry of Environment ,before his appointment as the State NEWMAP Project Coordinator in 2017.
He obtained his primary education from 1974-1981. Attended Waka-Biu Science Secondary School from 1981-1985 proceeded to school of Basic studies, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for his Basic Studies from 1985-1986 after which he was admitted to A.B.U Zaria for his Degree program where he obtained his B.Sc(Hons) Botany (1989).Ayuba Peter Shua did his N.Y.S.C in 1989/1990 at Ore Muslim High School,Ondo State.
In 1990, after his service year, he was employed by Borno State Government Under Ministry of Environment as an Assistant Conservator of Forest on G 08, from where he has risen to the rank of a Director, GL16 in 2014. Ayuba Peter Shua also went to University of Maiduguri and obtained his M.Sc Degree in Arid Zone Ecology in 2000.
Ayuba Peter Shua has been the Director, Forest and Wildlife from 2014 to 2017 , in 2017 he was appointed as the Project Coordinator, Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project, the position he still holds up to date.
